The event offers three distances — 10k, 25k, and 50k — with the 50-kilometer being the ‘crown jewel’ of the weekend, taking runners across Aspen Snowmass’ four unique mountains (like its winter counterpart), beginning at the Gondola Plaza at Aspen Mountain, and ending at Fanny Hill on Snowmass. Spectators can head to Snowmass Base Village to cheer on racers as they cross the finish line! Find more information about the race here.
- July 25th – Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race | Fanny Hill: Another staple in the local competitive endurance scene, the Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race starts and finishes right at Fanny Hill on Snowmass Mountain. This longstanding event is not for the faint of heart, taking riders 50 miles through Snowmass, across some of Colorado’s very best — and most challenging! — singletrack terrain. There’s also a relay option, so two riders can split the distance and do one 25-mile lap each, but they’ll still climb a whopping 5,000 feet! Whether you’re up for the challenge of racing or prefer to spectate, this is a great on-mountain summer event you won’t want to miss! Details and registration available here.
