2023-2024 Ski Season Wrap-Up & Closing Day Celebrations Guide

Looking Back: Another Incredible Winter at Snowmass

Wow, what a season it has been here at Snowmass! From epic mid-season storm cycles that delivered some seriously deep powder days, to more bluebird turns and views than we can count, to incredible après celebrations and family festivities of all kinds… Snowmass has truly delivered all the magic it has long been renowned for throughout the course of this 2023-24 ski season.

With the most terrain of any mountain in the famed Aspen Snowmass collection, Snowmass delivers an unrivaled variety of skiing and riding (with plenty of opportunity to find those secret powder stashes! 😉), and – as always – we saw skiers and riders of all ages and abilities make the most of that this season. Smiling faces, gleaming eyes, and sun-kissed cheeks were a hallmark sight across the mountain and Base Village all season long, as satisfied visitors maxed out their time on the mountain and soaked up all of the fun Snowmass Village has to offer.

Laughter poured from restaurant patios and windows as good eats and tasty sips were consumed over the recounting of memories from another fantastic day of skiing, s’mores dripped with gooey goodness as they were served up daily, kiddos squealed with delight as they made their way around the Base Village ice rink or down the speedy Alpine Coaster, visitors swayed to the beat of local musicians every Friday evening during Music on the Mall, and the spirit of winter came out in full force across Snowmass Village with each edition of Ullr Nights

The list of all the sights we took in and the fun we had this winter at Snowmass goes on and on… but the bottom line is that Snowmass is one truly special place, and that was on full display all season long.

Here at Woodrun V, it was our honor and pleasure to host families and visitors from across the globe, and provide them with an unforgettable ski vacation experience and connections that they’ll cherish forever. With ski-in/ski-out access, our guests were able to maximize time on the mountain each day, take advantage of unbeatable convenience to the many amenities offered at Base Village and the Snowmass Mall, and enjoy premium comfort and relaxation in their luxurious slopeside Woodrun V Residences

It has truly been another season for the books! Thank you so much to all who joined us on the mountainside here, and helped make the 2023-24 ski season such a great one.

Thank you for letting us provide the perfect base station for your own magic moments at Snowmass this year, and we hope you come back again soon for more. (Stay tuned for more info on our summer specials!)

Celebrating Closing Weekend at Snowmass

Not quite ready to be done just yet? Neither are we! But the good news is we still have a few days left for some amazing spring corn skiing, and we get to celebrate the end of ski season in style with the highly anticipated festivities of Snowmass Closing Weekend.

There’s no snow party quite like this one, where the mountain is transformed into a full-on surf-themed celebration zone as Elk Camp hosts its annual Surf & Snow Beach Party. From 11am to 3pm on Saturday April 13th, the most daring skiers and riders can take their shot at clearing the frigid waters of the pond skim, providing plenty of entertainment for all those who’d rather stick to the sidelines. Following the pond skim, DJ Naka G will be spinning the beats at Elk Camp patio, where revelers can also enjoy hot tub soaks and sunshine lounging, as well as delicious food and beverages.

On Sunday April 14th, it’s the final hurrah for Snowmass Closing Day, where skiers and riders can take their last laps on Big Burn and dance to DJ sets on the deck of Ullrhof restaurant. The music will be pumping, and food and drink specials served up, from 11am to 3:30pm. After hours, party-goers can make their way down to Snowmass Base Village where the party continues into the evening.

For those non-skiers and riders who still want to be part of the fun, free Gondola foot passes up to Elk Camp are offered after 12pm each day so you can join in.

We’ll see you out there for those final sweet spring turns! 😎
