Is Woodrun Five a hotel? Woodrun Five is a Townhouse condominium association. All units are individually owned and furnished. Half of our homeowners rent. Check our website, www.WoodrunV.com, for interior photographs and details of our rental units. The service format at Woodrun Five has been established by the homeowners association to serve both homeowners and renters alike. While this is a high-level service format, it is not a hotel service format.
What does my rental rate include? If you have booked a Woodrun Five-managed property for winter, your rate includes housekeeping, commonly requested special amenities (humidifiers, baby furniture), firewood, one Snowmass Village parking permit, up to two Woodrun Five parking permits, daily newspapers, fax and package services, and use of our business center and guest lounge facilities. Grocery shopping, ski tuning and other special needs are available at an extra charge. If you have rented a home during the summer or one that is not managed by Woodrun Five, please contact the rental agency for a description of services included in your rate.
Can I bring my pet to Woodrun Five? No, only Woodrun Five homeowners are permitted to bring pets except as provided for by the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act. If you are sensitive to pets, let us know so we will not rent you a home where the owner brings pets.
How do I get to Woodrun Five from local and regional airports? If you have not rented a car, you can take a cab or van from the airports. We do not offer an airport van service. However, if you have rented a Woodrun Five managed home and your party has no vehicles at Woodrun Five for your entire visit, let us know. We would like to say “Thank you for staying with us ” by reimbursing you $100 in cash at check-in to offset your airport transportation costs.
Does Woodrun Five provide transportation within Snowmass Village? Woodrun Five is serviced by the Snowmass Village Free Shuttle, which is available on-call every 20 minutes. There are two bus stops on the property: at the Arrival Center , and Phase III circle.You can get to Aspen using our public bus system or a cab. Bus schedules and cab information are available at the Front Desk. Woodrun Five does not provide off-site transportation.
What is the distance to Woodrun Five from Aspen? Woodrun Five is 8 miles (20-30 minutes) from Aspen . The Aspen airport is 5 miles from Woodrun Five.
How close is Woodrun Five to Snowmass Ski Area slopes? Woodrun Five is slopeside! We are immediately adjacent to Fanny Hill, Assay Hill and Adams Avenue ski/snowboard runs. Ski access varies with the unit location, snow conditions, or skill of the skier. The farthest unit is 200 yards from front door to one of three official ski access points (see map).
What is the best addressing for shipping luggage, packages and Federal Express? Our shipping address is 024 Village Bound Road , Snowmass Village , CO 81615 . Please put your unit # on the address label, and put your arrival date on shipped luggage. This address is NOT suitable for USPS regular mail.
How many cars can I bring? Woodrun Five has parking for up to two cars per unit. We have no accommodations in Snowmass Village for excess vehicles. Trailers and motor homes are prohibited at Woodrun Five.
How does the valet parking program work? Woodrun Five’s parking valet program for Townhouses #1-#33 keeps our firelanes clear and maintains peaceful and skiable streets. Parking is strictly limited to 15 minutes for loading and unloading only in designated pullouts. This is a Fire Department requirement. All assigned parking is in the carports across Wood Road from the units. If you do not wish to park your car yourself, our valet will be happy to park it for you and return it to you when you need it. You control your cars keys. This is a free service and tipping is not expected. We will demonstrate the program to you when you check in .Townhouses #34-45 park their own vehicles in assigned spaces near the units and overflow parking lots.
What are the Front Desk and valet parking hours? From mid-June through Labor Day, our Front Desk is open seven days per week. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, and 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. During winter, hours are extended - please inquire for updated information.
What are check-in, check-out procedures? Check-in time for Woodrun Five-managed townhouses is 4:00 P.M. and check-out time is 9:00 A.M. to allow adequate time to professionally clean these large townhomes. All persons staying overnight at Woodrun Five must be registered at the Front Desk. This includes all homeowners, their non-paying owner guests, and all rental guests. Even if you rented a townhouse that is not managed by Woodrun Five, you are still required to check in at the Front Desk. Unit keys may be left on the kitchen counter of your townhouse when you depart or you may bring them to the Front Desk. Early check-in or late check-out may be available by ADVANCE request, at manager’s discretion.
What happens if I am arriving late or I have an emergency after the Front Desk closes? Advise us if you will be arriving after the office closes, and we will make arrangements to leave a key for you. We do have an after hours emergency service that will respond to lock-outs, heat emergencies and plumbing emergencies during winter. The number for the emergency service is provided at check-in, posted on the front door and on our night phone tape recording.
What phone number should I give to people who may need to reach me? Each townhouse at Woodrun Five has a private phone number. Check with reservations for this phone number. We request that you do not charge long distance calls to your host’s personal phone number. Many guests opt to use a calling card or cell phone for long distance needs. The Front Desk does not offer a message service except for emergencies.
What kind of housekeeping can I expect? If you have rented a Woodrun Five-managed home, you will receive housekeeping service. If you wish “trash and towel” service, please advise the Front Desk. Service is limited to standard time frames to accommodate all guests; you can maximize the quality of the service by stashing personal items and bringing all dirty dishes to the kitchen before you depart for the day. All service is scheduled between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. You may not specify service time. If you are not able to accept the housekeepers, we make no guarantee that they can return at a later time. We do not offer additional services.
Tell me about your pool and spas. We have a brand new state-of-the art “brackish” pool and hot tub at the Arrival Center . This salt water system has a luxurious feel you will love with no harsh chemicals. Pool and hot tub open at 10:00 A.M. and close 1/2 hour before the front desk closes. Full locker room facilities and pool towels are located poolside. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A second hot tub is located in Phase III. Our hot tubs are set to 102-104 degrees. Pregnant women, young children, and other with medical concerns should have medical approval to use the hot tub.
What Internet service is provided? We offer high speed Internet service, both hard-wired and wireless, in our Business Center during Front Desk hours. We also feature a full personal computer, printer, FAX, and guest service phone to allow you to create a document or conduct business. Many of our homes also feature high-speed Internet services and have office space.
Do I pay an extra guest service fee or is tipping expected at Woodrun Five? Your rental rate is all-inclusive with the exception of personal expenses such as groceries or ski tuning. Woodrun Five-managed rentals do not have any add-on guest service fees. Woodrun Five is proud to be a living wage employer. Tips are not expected, but you are free to tip if you wish.
How can I arrange for grocery shopping, dinner reservations and other special needs? Woodrun Five wishes to accommodate your special needs within the scope of our operation. Advance notice is our best tool in meeting your needs. You may FAX or e-mail a grocery list two days prior to arrival if you wish grocery stocking in your home. While in-house, place your order by 10 A.M. Please keep in mind that liquor stores are closed on Sundays. A 10% materials upcharge and staff time will be charged to your credit card. There is no charge for humidifiers or basic baby furniture, but we do request advance notice to assure we have adequate stock. Our dinner reservations service is limited to making an initial reservation as long as no credit card deposit is required by the restaurant. If the restaurant requires a credit card deposit, or you wish to change a reservation we have made for you, you will need to contact the restaurant personally. We discourage same-day reservations. We do not have a dedicated concierge.
How do I arrange for a babysitter? Woodrun Five will provide you with a list of individuals and services that offer babysitting. Woodrun Five does not screen any babysitters. Parents will need to make arrangements directly with the babysitter or service.
Why does Woodrun Five have such strict occupancy restrictions? Woodrun Five’s restrictions of no more than two people over the age of 12 for each original bedroom are mandated by the Homeowners Association documents. This restriction assures a quality experience for our guests as well as providing for adequate parking and access to staff and services. Additionally, our homeowners are more comfortable furnishing their homes with quality items and personal touches when they are assured their homes will not be overcrowded.
