Is Woodrun V a hotel? Woodrun V is a condominium homeowners association of fifty-three individually owned properties. Twenty-five residences are available to rent in winter, some rent in summer. The Association maintains a high-level service format; it is not a hotel. 

Most rental residences are managed by the Association. If you rent one of two residences managed by an off-site company, please confirm with your chosen rental host availability, unit quality, rate, and services.

What does the rental rate include? In winter, rate includes housekeeping Monday through Saturday, WiFi, firewood, assigned covered parking for one vehicle per condominium, one Snowmass Village parking permit, parking for up to two vehicles on property per residence, valet parking for Residences 1 to 33, daily newspapers delivered each morning to the door, concierge assistance, fax sending and receiving, package services prior to arrival and while in residence, baby furniture, humidifiers, and use of the business center and guest lounge. Additional services are available at an extra charge (grocery shopping, ski tuning, and more). Contact Woodrun V to learn about available services in summer.

Can I bring my pet to Woodrun V? No, only Woodrun V homeowners are permitted to bring pets except as provided for by the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act. If you are sensitive to pets, let us know so you will not rent a residence where the owner brings pets.

How do I get to Woodrun V from local and regional airports? Contact the Front Desk, our concierge, or your travel advisor to learn more about ground transportation options. If your party will have no vehicles at Woodrun V for your entire winter visit, you will be reimbursed $100 in cash at check-in to offset airport transportation costs.

Does Woodrun V provide transportation within Snowmass Village? No, however the public Snowmass Village Free Shuttle Route 2 stops at two locations on property - Arrival Center and Phase III circle. Service is three times an hour; call 970-923-3500 to request.

What is the distance to Woodrun V from Aspen? Woodrun V is 8 miles (13 km) - 20-30 minutes usual drive time - from Aspen. The Aspen airport is 5 miles (8 km) from Woodrun V. Publi bus transportation between Snowmass Village and Aspen is free in 2016-2017.

How close is Woodrun V to Snowmass Ski Area slopes? Woodrun V is adjacent to Fanny Hill, Assay Hill and Adams Avenue ski/snowboard/hiking trails. Ski access varies with the unit location, snow conditions, and skill of the skier. All residences are within 212 yards (184 meters) to the ski access.

Package services are provided for items delivered prior to and during your stay. Packages delivered after your departure will not be accepted.

How many vehicles can I bring? Woodrun V has parking for up to two vehicles per residence. Trailers and motorhomes are prohibited.
 
How does the valet parking program work? Woodrun V’s parking valet program for Residences 1-33 keeps firelanes clear and maintains peaceful and skiable streets. Parking is strictly limited to 15 minutes for loading and unloading only in designated pullouts, a Fire Department requirement. Covered assigned parking is in carports across Wood Road. Residences 1-33 have valet service, included in the rental rate; tipping is not expected. If you do not wish to park your vehicle, our valet will park it for you and return it to you when you need it. You control the keys. Vehicles for Residences 34-45 park in assigned spaces near the residences and in overflow parking lots. 

What are the Front Desk and valet parking hours?
 In winter, Front Desk is open 8:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Thursday; hours are 8:00AM to 8:00PM Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Valet is on property 8:00 to 8:00PM daily all winter. In summer, hours of Front Desk and valet are 8:00AM to 6:00PM, 7 days a week.

What are check-in, check-out procedures?  Check-in time is 4:00PM. Check-out time is 9:00AM to allow adequate time to professionally clean these large condominiums. All persons staying overnight at Woodrun V must be registered at the Front Desk.  This includes all homeowners, owner guests, and all rental guests. Keys may be left on the kitchen counter of your residence when you depart, or you may bring them to the Front Desk.

What happens if I am arriving late or I have an emergency after the Front Desk closes?  If your arrival will be after the office closes, arrangements will be made.  After hours emergency service responds to lock-outs, heat emergencies and plumbing emergencies.  The number for emergency service is provided at check-in, and posted at the front door of the Arrival Center.  

What phone number should I give to people who may need to reach me? 
 Each residence at Woodrun V has a private phone number.  Check with the Front Desk for the number.

What kind of housekeeping can I expect?  Housekeeping service is Monday through Saturday in winter.  Service is limited to standard timeframes to accommodate all guests; you can maximize quality of the service by putting away personal items and bringing dishes to the kitchen before you depart for the day.  All service is scheduled between 9:00AM and 4:00PM. It is not possible to specify service times.  If housekeepers are turned away, there is no guarantee they will return at a later time.

Tell me about your pool and spas. Enjoy the outdoor pool and hot tub at the Arrival Center. Check at the Front Desk for current hours of operation.  Locker room and pool towels are located poolside.  There is no lifeguard on duty.  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.  A second hot tub is located in Phase III. Hot tubs are set to 102-104 degrees.  Pregnant women, young children, and others with medical concerns should have medical approval to use the hot tub.  

What Internet service is provided?  High speed Internet service in the residences managed by Woodrun V and the Guest Lounge is hard-wired and wireless.  The Guest Lounge has a computer, printer, FAX, and phone to allow guests to create documents and conduct business.

Do I pay an extra guest service fee or is tipping expected at Woodrun V?  Your rental rate includes services with the exception of personal expenses such as groceries or ski tuning; there are no add-on guest service fees. Tips are not expected, but you are free to tip if you wish. 

How can I arrange for grocery shopping, dinner reservations and other special needs?
  Advance notice is the best way to meet your needs.  You may FAX or e-mail a groceries list up to two days prior to arrival if you wish grocery stocking in your home. While in-house, place your order by 10:00AM for same-day service. There is no charge for humidifiers or basic baby furniture, but advance notice is requested to assure items are available.  Contact the Front Desk for concierge services.

How do I arrange for a babysitter?  Ask for a list of individuals and services that offer babysitting. Woodrun V does not screen babysitters.  Parents will need to make arrangements directly with the babysitter or service.

Why does Woodrun V have such strict occupancy restrictions?  Woodrun V’s restrictions of no more than two adults (over age 12) for each original bedroom are mandated by the Homeowners Association. This restriction assures a quality experience for guests, providing for adequate parking and access to staff and services. Homeowners are more comfortable furnishing their homes with quality items and personal touches when they are assured their homes will not be overcrowded.
